Inspired by my wonderful friend Maddie, this week’s update is all about Python: computer language or huggable monster? See for yourself.
But first, here are 10 Foundational Facts to learning about python(s). *
They grow to be one of the top five longest snakes in the world, at an average of 12 feet and a record length of 23 feet. They love the water and usually live by the shore, so you could say they enjoy long slithers on the beach. They can live to be around 20-25 years old. Their favorite food is pizza or sometimes an entire deer in one gulp. Non-venomous aka super friendly + great hugger!! Their love language is definitely physical touch. They need at least one hug a day. As mostly solitary animals, who decide to mate in the spring, you could say they’re your classic introvert with a romantic side. They can hold their breath for 30 minutes, so no, hiccups never last long. Lastly, with their distinctive markings, they’re always a little self-conscious about getting confused for a giraffe.
*these are all based from real facts about Burmese pythons!
